@elmath I see the build failing on this branch, but it seems from other package.

Can we still do something there ?

@ldomide the error is completely unrelated to tvb and the changes in this MR, so it can be merged normally.

one question just to be sure, depends_on('py-numpy@:2.0') also includes py-numpy@2.0.* (equivalent to numpy<=2.0), is that correct? if not, then it should be depends_on('py-numpy@:1')

We meant numpy < 2.0

we should change as you suggest depends_on('py-numpy@:1')
