Question where our tools are now integrated

We have requested 3 tools to be integrated in the jupyter notebook server:

• APBS
• PDB2PQR
• SDA

I tried to use them on the jupyter notebook now, but i could not start eg. apbs (i used the https://lab.ch.ebrains.eu/). Where can i find these tools now?

Since Jul 29, APBS and PDB2PQR are available in the experimental kernel (named EBRAINS_experimental_release) of the production Lab instances, both https://lab.ch.ebrains.eu/ and https://lab.de.ebrains.eu/. If no issues are found, they will be included in the next official EBRAINS software release when this happens.

SDA has not yet been built successfully due to some issues that we are investigating - if the problem is indeed an incompatibility with our build image as suggested, it should be solved when we update it over the next few weeks.

Some info on our release schedule:

• On a weekly basis, the latest working versions of EBRAINS tools that have been successfully built in the integration environment of the Lab are made available in production, in the experimental kernel.
• Then on a quarterly basis, a new official EBRAINS software release is made available. The latest release was made available on July in kernel EBRAINS_22.07.

I checked it in the experimental build and the apbs and pdb2pqr is working.

All 3 packages have been available in the Lab for a while now, and have been part of the latest official EBRAINS release (EBRAINS-23.02). I'm closing the issue.
