Sorry for the late review but we now made this available on lab-int for testing. There was an issue we noticed that the jupyterlab icon on the top left gets replaced when installing the extension. Also would it be possible to not have the extension integrated by default in the toolbar on the left? Maybe it can be opt-in or access via the context menu instead? At the moment it integrates via the toolbar on the left with an icon, which can be confusion to the user. Most lab users are probably not going to use this extension and would be wondering what the lego icon stands for.

Thank you for merging this and for the suggestions. As this is an alpha release, we do not intend to add it yet to the official Lab. We will take these into consideration for the next release and I will come back to you with a proposal that would fit better the Lab environment.
